Paul Moleta is an Australian born singer-songwriter. His music offers a unique blend of alternative pop rock melodies and insightful song writing.
Growing up in the Northern suburbs of Melbourne, Paul always dreamed of becoming a singer-songwriter. In 2011 Paul, cousin Adrian Moleta and friend Nick McKay became rock band Mokoan (aka Inseek) with Paul being the band’s lead vocalist and songwriter. The band went on to achieve the following milestones
2013 both One Way Destination and Burning Flame chart #1 on N1M
2014 Burning Flame charts #1 on N1M.
Paul along with Band Mokoan support The Steven Walter Children’s Cancer Foundation. Organising the fundraising event, the boys launch their EP“ The Story Begins” donating all proceeds from the evening toward the foundation.
Paul would bill the band and solo performances voluntary for The Relay for Life events around Melbourne.

In 2015 Paul was faced with a major setback after suffering a serious back injury and was told he would possibly never walk again. During his extensive recovery and rehabilitation, where he could not work or perform and the split of the band, Paul found light in the music of Irish band U2. This became his inspiration, vowing to himself not only to recover, but that if he did, he would move to Ireland and record his music at Windmill Lane Studios, the original recording studio of U2.
In 2017 he did just that, adopting Ireland as a home base for his music. He honed his craft playing the pubs, clubs and festivals he managed to realize his dream of recording at Windmill Lane Studios in 2019. Currently working with producer Ger McDonnell, who has worked with several huge bands including U2, Paul has recorded his latest singles Hypnotised and Waiting released early 2020 and now a brand new track Hey Young Soul releasing Wednesday 12th August 2020.
Recently Paul has played Ireland’s iconic music festival Electric Picnic in 2019 on the Village Hall Stage (Global Green), which also included headline acts Jess Glynne, Gavin James, Hozier and Florence + The Machine, Billie Elish, Dermot Kenny, Inhaler and The Academic
