WILL WORTHINGTON STEVEN WALTER FUNDRAISING EVENT JUNE 2014

Will Worthington, a soul with  great passion and full of inspiration deliver’s a very warm & powerful heart touching Poem at The Steven Walter Fundraising Event.

A Poem Will dedicate’s for young souls who are battling for their lives across the globe.

For those who were unable to attend the evening’s event, it’s our pleasure to post this very very special story by Will Worthington.

THROUGH THE EYE’S OF A CHILD

Here I lay staring out the window
the sky is blue
white clouds are floating by
Oh ! look there’s a horse, there’s a rabbit
can you see them

The sun is out so warm and bright
the tree’s are moving ever so slowly
I think they are moving
It dosen’t matter
that’s ok

The grass is green
somebody has just mowed it
I can smell it
I think I can smell it
It doesn’t matter
that’s ok

Oh ! I wish I could be out there
to stand and feel the grass
to feel the sun on my face
the wind blowing thru my hair
if I had hair
I did before
I must have
I don’t remember
But that’s ok

I can’t run around anymore
the pain is so bad
I can only lay here

I look around me
all I see are my brother’s and sister’s
we are all brother’s and sister’s here

They said I will get better, but I’m not

They whisper to my mum and dad
there is nothing they can do
they think I can’t hear
but I see it in their eye’s
the pain of knowing
that I won’t be cured of this sickness
but mum and dad…….that’s ok

My angel said be brave……be strong……..I’m here for you

We all have angel’s here
my brother’s and sister’s
can’t you see them
Oh my angel said
we are the only ones

I’m glad that they are here
they help ease the pain
as they hold onto me

I’m 3, 4, 6, 7…..
I don’t know
It doesn’t matter
but that’s ok

here comes my mum and dad
sadness in their eye’s
trying hard to be happy for me
I gotta be brave for them
I smile
I’m 3, 5, 6, 7…………
I don’t remember
but that’s ok

I look at them tears brim my eye’s
in pain and sadness I can’t speak
I wish I could speak, to painful
so I smile

I would tell them don’t be sad
my angel is going to take me to a place where I can run
feel the sun on my face, the breeze blowing thru my hair
I will hair my angel said

My mum and dad
I will be seeing them everyday
I will be able to speak to them
I hope they can hear me

I’m 5, 6, 7, 8………….
I don’t remember
but that’s ok

Some day they will be able to cure kids like me
and my brother’s and sister’s
I hope they can learn from our sickness
My angel said they would

I’m 6, 7, 8, 9………..
I don’t remember
but thtat’s ok

I know my mum and dad  will help raise lot’s of money
to find a cure for all the other kids out there
they said so…………I believe them

Please don’t give up on us……on our hopes our dreams
to make us better so we too can live our lives with our families
free of pain free of sorrow from this sickness
too smile….too laugh….and be happy

so we and our angels….we wait…..we smile….and we pray in hope.

My name is Will Worthington , this is their story……………THROUGH THE EY’S OF A CHILD.

Thank you xoxoxoxo
